The Best Princess Leia Costume Ideas

In a galaxy far away lived the beautiful and brave Princess Leia.  From the very first of George Lucas’ “Star Wars” movies to be released in the 1970s, Princess Leia played character that was anything but a damsel in distress. Portrayed by actress Carrie Fisher, Princess Leia was romantically involved with Hans Solo and was (as found out later) the twin sister of Luke Skywalker. A Princess Leia costume is a stellar choice for Halloween or even attending a Star Wars convention.

There are several Princess Leia costumes depending on the Star Wars movie and action at hand. The most memorable had to be the sexy bikini style outfit she wore while saving Han Solo from Jabba the Hut. Be prepared to show some skin in this revealing outfit which features a tiny top and skimpy bottoms with an attached loincloth. The iconic Princess Leia costume, however, is the white robes that she sported along with the double bun hairdo that she favored. Have friends dress up as other Jedi Knights such as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo or even the loyal wookie side-kick Chewbacca.
